Who Can Join

You are eligible to join National Geographic Federal Credit Union if you are employed by National Geographic Society or associated with a company or organization in any of our select employers.

Credit union membership is also a family affair. Membership is open to immediate family members, including spouses, parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, adoptive relationships, siblings, stepsiblings, grandchildren, and grandparents who are related by blood or marriage. Persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit with a member are also eligible.

To join, simply open a share savings account with a minimum deposit of $5. Stop by or fill out the Membership Application below. After your account is open, you can take advantage of any other services we have to offer.

Remember, credit union membership is for life. Once a member always a member – whether you leave your current employer, retire, or move away.
